PydicomPlugin.properties(*, index: int | None = None, raw: bool = False) → ImageProperties

Standardized ndimage metadata from Dataset tags (no PixelData decode).

Parameters:

indexint or Ellipsis or None

Same conventions as read.

rawbool

If False (default), shape and dtype match reconstructed read / iter output (palette → RGB channels; rescale / VOI may change dtype). Otherwise, report stored layout: integer Pixel Data (has PixelRepresentation) or float modules (no PixelRepresentation, BitsAllocated 32 / 64).
